Blogging Health Check 2 - Task 41.

The first blogging health check in December 2014, I received a C grade. Since then, I have taken into account what improvements was needed to improve my grade as well as my blog tasks. February 2015, the 2nd blogging health check in shows that my grade has gone up to an A. I am pleased with the progress as I really took in what I needed to do to improve my blog tasks, such as adding more media content and technology e.g gifs and interesting ways to present the tasks, (powtoon & thing link) instead of blocks of writing and pictures. However, I still need to make much more improvements in order to gain a higher grade such as, I need to add some more visuals and sounds.

This is a gif from editing the first rough cut. We noticed, even though we used a fig rig, most of the shots were jerky. Many of them were blurry. Some shots have poor lighting, such as the shots in the corridor and locker room. We sped up some of the footage, such as the establishing shot of the college. After reviewing the shots, we decided to re-film a majority of the shots.

Planning: Blogging Health Check 2 (task41)

Since the last blogging health check in December, 2014, my score has improved by 3 marks and gone up 2 grades, from a C to an A. I am pleased with the progress so far and I'm glad that I've taken into account my teacher's comments for blogging health check 1- by adding more technology. To improve my blog even further, I want to expand on some of the groups posts, such as the costume and sound posts. 

Filming Day 2: Introducing The Characters

Day 2: Today didn't go entirely to plan, as a majority of our planned cast couldn't get into college due to the bus strike. However, we still managed to get a decent amount of students to portray different stereotypes. 

Here, Danica is ensuring that the lens cap is off and adjusting the tripod to shoulder height of Andre, our 'Nerd'

Here, two of our cast members (a Mean Girl and a Jock) come into the camera shot from behind the camera and the Nerd is seen from coming into the shot from the righthand side.
